Born in 1955 in London, England, Richard Alexander Hayes was a visionary leader who combined a keen business acumen with a deep sense of social responsibility. After earning his degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, he embarked on a career that integrated his professional expertise with his philanthropic passions.
In the early stages of his career, Richard joined Barclays Bank, where he quickly distinguished himself as a leader in sustainable finance and ethical investment practices. Recognising the transformative potential of aligning financial success with social good, he founded Dalphia Wealth in 1990, with a mission to provide wealth management services that reflect these values.
Richard collaborated with the European Commission on various sustainability initiatives, including the European Green Deal. His efforts supported projects to achieve climate neutrality, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote renewable energy. Through this partnership, he advanced his vision of integrating ESG principles into economic growth and environmental stewardship.
Richard Alexander Hayes passed away in 2018, but his legacy inspires us at Dalphia Wealth.
